Wind Sun Sky, Viral Nation partner on The McCartys content

The family has amassed more than 18 million subscribers across YouTube and TikTok.

Vancouver’s Wind Sun Sky has teamed up with Toronto-based digital talent agency Viral Nation to produce original content featuring YouTube family The McCartys, including a series of animated shorts and a Roblox game.

Wind Sun Sky and Viral Nation are starting their content build with a package of animated shorts that will launch on The McCartys’ social platforms and YouTube channel. The companies plan to later produce longer-form content for a variety of platforms, according to a news release.

The companies are also developing a Roblox game that will allow users to interactive with the animated characters.

The popular family of four has 12.1 million subscribers on YouTube and more than six million TikTok followers as of press time. They make funny role-play videos where they dress up, goof around and tell stories, and they’ve translated their digital success into brand partnerships with companies including MGA, Walmart and Nick Jr.

“This project showcases the boundless potential for content creators to explore diverse avenues and seize exciting opportunities beyond their current digital platforms,” said Paul Telner, Viral Nation’s head of programming, in a statement. “Working with The McCartys and Wind Sun Sky Entertainment represents a monumental step forward in the creator economy.”
