The Reelworld Screen Institute has announced the 12 participants for this year’s Producer Program.
The program is focused on aspiring producers, who will learn how to create a corporation, retain intellectual property rights, option scripts, create deal memos, choose key creatives, cast directors and more. They will be introduced to industry professionals and have the chance to pitch their chosen project for development.
All participants receive passes to the 2025 Reelworld Summit + Festival.
Now in its fifth year, the program takes place remotely from April to July, with market support scheduled for later this year, a Reelworld spokesperson told Playback Daily.
There are five participants from Ontario: Sobika Ganesh, Vaishnavi Sambhus, Temi Shobowale and Eman Pathan. Patrice Jecrois, Noemie Ferron and Krishna Anaberi hail from Quebec.
Sina Nazarian and Jeremy Xu are based in B.C.
Newfoundland and Labrador’s Jessica Brown, P.E.I.’s Elisha Baptiste and Manitoba’s Vincent Blais-Shiokawa round out the cohort.
In February, Reelworld named the cohort of screenwriters selected for the 2025 edition of its Emerging 20 program.
