Principal photography is set to wrap Friday (Aug. 30) on director James Kondelik’s action-thriller Pitflall.
The feature is written Alex Bogomolov and Wai Sun Cheng, who also produce under their Dragon Bear Pictures banner. Filming began in Vancouver and surrounding area on Aug. 6.
Pitfall follows a young man who gets separated from his friends in the woods and falls into a pit of spikes, trapping him. He soon discovers his fall was no accident, but the start of a deadly hunt.
The film stars Randy Couture (The Expendables), Marshall Williams (The Ice Road), Alexandra Essoe (Midnight Mass) and Richard Harmon (The Age of Adeline). Jordan Clair Robbins (The Umbrella Academy) and Matt Hamilton (The Actress Diaries) round out the key cast.
L.A.-based sales and financing agency The Exchange is handling sales for the film.
Bogomolov and Cheng previously produced another action thriller, Ruthless Bastards, which is scheduled for release in the fall. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery, Casper Van Dien and Parmish Verma.
Williams is represented by Trina Allen of Play Management; Couture is repped by Brett Norensberg at the Gersh Agency; Essoe is repped by Deb Dillistone of Red Management; and Harmon is repped by Melanie Turner at Pacific Artists.
