Sinking Ship Entertainment has inked several new international deals for math franchise Odd Squad, school drama Phoenix Rise and the animated series Alma’s Way.
The U.K.-filmed Odd Squad has been sold to ABC in Australia and NRK in Norway. The series will premiere in the regions following its global premiere on PBS KIDS, CBBC and TVOkids later this year.
The new Odd Squad format is a coproduction between Sinking Ship Entertainment and BBC Kids and Family Productions.
Canela Media has acquired season one of the original Odd Squad and Fred Rogers Productions and Pipeline Studios’ Alma’s Way for its free Spanish-language streaming platform Canela.TV across Latin America.
BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions’ Phoenix Rise makes its return to Yle in Finland with the third and fourth season and will launch for the first time in Belgium on VRT Ketnet. The series follows six misfits re-entering mainstream school to re-discover their potential and place in the world.
