Echo Media promotes Emilie Beaulieu to VP creation, content

The promotion is one of several key appointments at the Montreal-based production company.

M ontreal-based prodco Echo Media has elevated producer Emilie Beaulieu to VP creation and content as part of several key promotions to bolster its leadership team.

Beaulieu, who joined the company in 2023, has been tasked to lead the development of the company’s content slate, according to a news release issued Monday (April 22) to announce the promotions.

Beaulieu (pictured left) has more than 20 years of experience in management and production. Having started her career as a journalist, she served in various roles at the CBC for 14 years, and also had stints at TVA, RNC Media and Bell Media. She also served as executive producer at Montreal-based prodco Zone3.

Producer Sarah Châtelain (pictured centre) has been promoted to VP, strategic partnerships and corporate affairs, and is responsible for leading the company’s development and strategic positioning, domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Echo in 2016, Châtelain held several marketing roles at TVA Publications.

Production manager Noémie Michiels, meanwhile, has been promoted to director of finance and corporate management. Michiels (pictured right) will oversee the budgeting and financing processes for the company’s projects.

Echo Media’s productions include Toopy and Binoo: The Movie, Tele-Quebec series Je ne suis pas un robot and digital pre-school series Biscuit et Cassonade.
