Crave has greenlit New Metric Media’s comedy Shoresy for a third season following its continued popularity on the streamer.
Production on the 6 x 30-minute third season of the Letterkenny spinoff — created, written and starring Jared Keeso — will begin in Sudbury, Ont. in November, according to a news release. The comedy is currently the No. 1 Canadian scripted series on Crave, according to Bell Media, which cited data from Adobe Analytics.
Shoresy is produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games and Crave. Kaniehtiio Horn is the show’s producer, and executive producers include Keeso and New Metric’s Mark Montefiore and Kara Haflidson. The series is distributed by WildBrain, while is New Metric is the exclusive sales agent.
Season three will continue to track the exploits of Shoresy (Keeso) and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs in the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization.
Returning cast members include Tasya Teles, Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat, Blair Lamora, and Keilani Rose.
Shoresy is produced with the participation of Canada Media Fund, the Bell Fund, Ontario Creates, the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.
