Crave is bringing on another international edition of global hit format The Traitors for its audience.

The Hungarian adaptation of the format (pictured), produced by Paprika Studios for RTL, is making its way to the service via distributor All3Media International. Heading into its second season in Hungary, Canadian viewers will get to see the first season through the streamer.

Bell Media has previously commissioned Canadian versions of The Traitors, both hosted by Karine Vanasse (Plan B): the English-language The Traitors: Canada for CTV, which is currently airing its second season, and the French-language Les traîtres for Noovo, with an upcoming second season. Both versions hail from Montreal prodco Entourage Television.

The series sees a group of contestants living together and competing in a mansion for up to $100,000, with the caveat that some of them may be traitors out to win the prize for themselves.

In August 2023, Crave also acquired Canadian rights to the U.S., U.K. and Australian versions of The Traitor.

Created and developed by Marc Pos and IDTV creative director Jasper Hoogendoorn in collaboration with RTL Creative Unit, The Traitors launched in the Netherlands on RTL 4 in 2021, and has since spawned more than 30 international versions.
