Netflix's Stranger Things still topped the digitals list for the week of Sept. 26 to Oct. 2.

Disney+’s new sci-fi series Andor, about a thief-turned-Rebel spy, stole a good chunk of viewers a week after its premiere.

The action thriller starring Diego Luna (pictured), which debuted on Sept. 21, ranked at No. 4 on the digital originals list and No. 10 on the overall TV demand chart for the week of Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, according to Parrot Analytics. The prequel series to the Star Wars spinoff film Rogue One was 21.82 times more in demand than the average series in Canada for that period – a slightly higher figure than the previous week’s 20.1, when it was No.7 on the Top 10 Digital Originals list.

Netflix’s Stranger Things still topped the digitals list for the period with a rating of 31.33, which was an increase from the previous week’s 30.2. The series, starring Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, and Vancouver-raised Finn Wolfhard, also maintained its spot on the overall TV chart at No. 3.

Retaining its No. 2 spot on the digital originals chart was Hulu original series The Handmaid’s Tale. The dystopian series, produced by MGM Television and shot in Toronto, was 26.46 times more in demand for the week. That number was a slight decrease from the previous week’s 28.1. Based on Canadian author Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name, The Handmaid’s Tale ranked No. 4 on the overall TV demand list for the week.

The remaining series on the top five of the digital originals chart are: Netflix’s Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (26.36) at No. 3, which also appeared on the overall TV demand chart at No. 5, and Netflix’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (21) at No. 5.

Meanwhile, HBO’s Game of Thrones held on to the top spot of the overall TV demand chart with a rating of 35.66 – a slightly lower number than the previous week’s 36.9. House of the Dragon followed suit on the list with a rating of 32.83, which slightly increased from the previous week’s 32.6.

For example, a difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.
