A mazon Studios’ The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season premiere landed on the top 10 digital and overall TV demand charts.

The Lord of the Rings prequel series (pictured) starring Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, and Markella Kavenagh had its debut at No. 3 on the digital originals list and at No. 8 on the overall TV demand chart for the week of Sept. 5 to 11, according to Parrot Analytics. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which had its season premiere on Sept. 1, was 21.24 times more in demand than the average series in Canada for the week.

Netflix’s Stranger Things continued to conquer the digital originals chart for the week at No. 1, with a rating of 29.71 – a lower figure than the previous week’s 33.13. The sci-fi series ranked third on the overall TV demand list.

Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (21.93) sat at No. 2 on the digital list, while Disney+’s The Mandalorian (20.94) came in at No. 4, and Netflix’s Cobra Kai (20.18) at No. 5.

Meanwhile, HBO’s Game of Thrones preserved its No. 1 spot on the overall TV list and rating of 38.56 for the week. Its prequel series, House of the Dragon, came in second on the list with a rating of 32.08 – a slightly lower number than the previous week’s 33.56.

AMC’s Better Call Saul (27.79) and Breaking Bad (27.3) both sustained their ranks at No. 4 and at No. 5 on the overall TV chart, despite declining ratings. Better Call Saul had a rating of 32.85, while Breaking Bad had a 29.03 the previous week.
