Four Toronto-shot series made the top 10 digital originals list for the week of June 27 to July 3.

Prime Video’s The Boys (pictured) came in at No. 2 and was 31.44 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week, according to Parrot Analytics. Other Toronto-filmed series on the list include Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy (26.32) at No. 4; Paramount+ series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (24.31) at No. 5; and Hulu original The Handmaid’s Tale (20.81) at No. 7.

Landing at No. 3 was Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi (28.52), which was directed by Toronto-born Deborah Chow.

Netflix’s sci-fi horror hit Stranger Things topped the overall TV shows and the digital demand charts for a seventh consecutive week as the final two episodes of its fourth season hit the streamer on July 1. The series was 101.98 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week.

Hulu original Only Murders in the Building cracked the the top 10 digital originals list following its season two premiere on June 28. Starring Canadian comedy veteran Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and Steve Martin, the mystery-comedy series, which is available on Disney+ in Canada, came in at No. 6.

In the overall TV series demand list, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants (32.31) ranked at No. 2, The Boys (31.44) at No. 3, Obi-Wan Kenobi (28.52) at No. 4, and Sesame Street (28.38) at No. 5.
