In celebration of World Space Week, YouTube Originals has teamed up with U.S. Vice President and head of the National Space Council Kamala Harris on a new special for kids and families.

Get Curious with Vice President Harris is produced by Toronto-based prodco Sinking Ship Entertainment and tags along with the highest ranking woman in the U.S. government and several students as they explore space themes through activities such as a field trip to the United States Naval Observatory and a scavenger hunt led by NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough.

The special will premiere on the YouTube Kids app and the NASA YouTube channel tomorrow (Oct. 7). Lauren Vrazilek and Laurel Stier are overseeing the project for YouTube Originals.

Get Curious follows Sinking Ship’s 2020 YouTube Originals series Lockdown, which was the first project to receive money from the AVOD’s US$100-million kids and family fund last year.
