HGTV greenlights Scott Brothers Entertainment’s Curb Appeal Xtreme

The show is a spin-off of the U.S. network's outdoor renovation show Curb Appeal.

HGTV’s outdoor renovation show Curb Appeal is spinning off with the newly greenlit series Curb Appeal Xtreme, from Jonathan and Drew Scott’s Scott Brothers Entertainment.

Each hour-long episode follows architectural and design expert John Gidding, landscaper Jamie Durie and carpentry and furniture designer Rachel Taylor as they overhaul the front and backyards of homes in Nashville, Tenn.

Curb Appeal Xtreme is executive produced by Jonathan Silver Scott and Drew Scott (pictured), Mary Beth Anderson and Josie Crimi. The series is slated to premiere on the Discovery-owned channel in late summer.

HGTV has been building up its slate with a raft of commissions in recent months. The network recently teamed with Windy City Rehab producer Big Table Media for the series Fix My Flip.

Other recent titles include competition series Battle of the Beach and the one-hour pilot What Not To Design (working title), starring singer, actress and design enthusiast Raven-Symoné and based on the hit TLC show What Not to Wear.
