The Writers Guild Of Canada (WGC) put on their annual award show on April 29 at Koerner Hall, hosted by comedian Gavin Crawford. The big winners of the night included Cardinal season two showrunner Sarah Dodd, Schitt’s Creek scribe Rupinder Gill and Wynonna Earp creator Emily Andras. WGC also took the opportunity to announce a new bursary with the Canadian Film Centre in memory of the late Denis McGrath.
