Vancouver-based talent agency Play Management on Tuesday revealed plans to further expand its North American footprint with the launch of a Toronto office.
The company has hired Meagan Allison-Hancock, a veteran talent agent who most recently worked at Toronto’s Amanda Rosenthal Talent, to head up the new office.
Partner Lena Lees told Playback Daily that launch of a Toronto office is an “organic next step” in the evolution of the company and will allow it facilitate broader opportunities for its clients. “Hanging a shingle in Toronto is one of many steps we see as an integral part of this process,” she said.
The announcement comes two and a half years after Play branched out of the Vancouver market for the first time, launching a U.S. office in Atlanta, Georgia. The U.S. outpost is headed up by outpost is headed by Trina Allen-Abt, who co-founded Play Management with Vickie Petronio-King and Lees.
