The CBC unveiled CBC Films, a new brand for all its cinema initiatives, at a luncheon event at the Bisha Hotel in Toronto on Sept. 7. Before sitting down for a bite to eat, attendees heard from Mehernaz Lentin, senior director, CBC Films, who said the pubcaster is working to attract more diverse voices and perspectives through its investment in Canadian film.
