The latest in Incendo’s MOW slate, Twisted, has started principal photography in Montreal.

The TV movie follows Incendo’s formula for getting female viewers to tune in, with a strong female lead in a dangerous situation. In Twisted, Kara (Elisabeth Harnois) finds herself in dangerous liaison when her boyfriend’s unstable ex wants back in his life. Tyler, Kara’s boyfriend, is played by Canadian Morgan Kelly.

Written by Barbara Kymlicka (Bad Sister), the film is directed by Philippe Gagnon, who also recently stepped behind the camera on Incendo’s Sleeper. Producers on thew MOW are Incendo’s Jean Bureau and Ian Whitehead, with Bureau also serving as executive producer. The MOW is produced with the participation of Bell Media.

The Montreal producer/distributor signed a deal with New York-based distributor FilmRise. Negotiated at MIPCOM, the deal will see Incendo act as a sales agent for all of FilmRise’s TV titles in Canada.
