Noel Hedges named EVP of acquisitions, eOne Television

The former SVP of acquisitions at Cineflix Rights and ITV Studios will oversee teams in Toronto and London, U.K.

noel hedges eoneeOne has appointed Noel Hodges to the newly created post of EVP of acquisitions, eOne Television.

In the London, U.K.-based role, Hodges will be charged with acquiring film and TV content across a range of genres (drama, lifestyle, factual, series and formats), as well as sourcing and acquiring scripted content at early stage development.

Hodges, who most recently served as EVP, content at London-based distribution firm DRG, will assume his new post on Sept. 4, 2017, overseeing eOne’s TV teams in both London and Toronto.

In previous roles he has served as SVP, sales and acquisitions, The Americas, at L.A.-based ITV Studios, and SVP of acquisitions at London-based Cineflix Rights.
