Vancouver-shot feature Entanglement is hopping just south of the border on May 19 for its world premiere at Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF).
Directed by Jason James (That Burning Feeling), the comedy/drama film stars Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) as a man who uncovers a family secret while searching for the meaning of his existence, leading him to meet and fall in love with Hanna (Jess Weixler). The script was penned by Jason Filiatrault.
Entanglement is produced by James’ Resonance Films banner and Amber Ripley’s Vancouver-based Goodbye Productions.
The film was developed through Movie Central’s Script to Screen program, in association with the National Screen Institute, and also received HGF coin in 2015. Other funding support came from Telefilm Canada and Creative BC.
Entanglement screens on May 19, 20 and 24 at SIFF.
