Blue Ant International, the distribution division of Blue Ant Media, is heading to MIPTV with a slate of short-form digital content.
Earlier this month, Blue Ant announced it had added 160 hours to its slate, including its first-ever scripted series. The Toronto-based media co continues to expand its offering, today adding short-form natural history, comedy, animation and lifestyle series.
Blue Ant will take Wild Moves (6 x 3-5 minutes), produced in house and in 4K, and Casey Anderson’s Wild Earth (6 x 3 minutes), produced by U.K.-based Hawk Films.
On the lifestyle side, the company will bring digital short series Home Chef to Pro Chef (8 x 1 minute), produced by Our House Media, and Brojects In the House (9 x 1 minute), produced by Farmhouse Productions. Both shorts are digitial companions to linear series, which Blue Ant will also shop at MIPTV.
Non-linear digital comedy series The Brief (4 x 6 minutes), produced by Original Inc., will also head to Cannes, joined by Blue Ant Media-produce Prank You (6 x 30 minutes) and Look Mom! Productions’ Gary and Demons (6 x 30 minutes and 16 x 11 minutes).
“The appetite for short-form content, to fuel social media and digital platforms, continues to rise as buyers seek out this content to complement their linear television brands worldwide,” Solange Attwood, SVP, Blue Ant International (pictured), said in a release announcing the additions.
As previously announced, Blue Ant will also shop a Our House Media’s 360-degree digital series Paranormal Survivor: Evil Surrounds You (6 x 1 minute).
