Brown will oversee original content and multi-platform publishing for the L.A.-based company, which was fully acquired by Blue Ant earlier this year.

The company also announced a number of executive hires, including the appointment of Dan Lubetkin as chief content officer and Greg Kampanis as SVP, operations.

Meanwhile, Omnia also hired Mike Waghalter as its new SVP, business development, while Rose Ferraro will continue as SVP, brand sales and Austin Long as VP, gaming partnerships and strategy.

Omnia says its talent network, which targets gaming and DIY communities, draws more than two billion views per month across various platforms.

In July 2014, Blue Ant opened a U.S. office to support the growth of Omnia, after the Toronto-based media co took a minority stake in Omnia in April of the same year.
