Hockey Wives headed to season three

New episodes of the Bristow Global-produced docuseries are expected to air in spring 2017.

copied from realscreen - hockey wivesCorus Entertainment’s W Network has greenlit a third season of docuseries Hockey Wives.

Produced by Bristow Global Media, in association with W Network, filming is currently underway on eight new episodes, which are scheduled to air in spring 2017.

The series, which targets a 25- to 54-year old female audience, follows the lives of the wives and girlfriends of NHL hockey players.

Hockey Wives debuted on W Network in March 2015, quickly becoming a ratings hit for the channel and landing an international distribution deal with Beyond Distribution. Greenlit in May 2015, the second season brought electronics brand LG on board as a brand integration partner. No brand partnerships or cast have yet been announced for the third season.

Executive producers on the series are Bristow Global Media president and CEO Julie Bristow and Megan Sanchez-Warner.
