Corus Entertainment has announced a raft of new content deals, including sales of its popular lifestyle series Masters of Flip and Buying the View.
Discovery Channel has picked up the first two seasons of Flip and the first season of Buying the View for TLC in Poland and DLife in the Middle East and North Africa.
Meanwhile, A+E Networks UK also picked up seasons one and two of Flip for Lifetime in the U.K. and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Masters of Flip, which follows hosts Kortney and Dave Wilson as they transform rundown properties into sellable homes, is produced by Toronto’s Rhino Content. Buying the View, produced by Our House Media, features buyers and real estate agents as they hunt for properties with a million-dollar view.
Earlier this year, Corus sold season one of Flip to Discovery Channel in Norway and Life Inspired in Singapore, Hong Kong/Macau, Taiwain, Indonesia and Malaysia/Brunei. Buying the View also recently sold to Nine Network in Australia and A+E Networks Asia. With these new deals, Flip is now available in more than 90 worldwide territories and View is available in more than 60 territories.
In other sales news, Corus announced Foxtel has picked up the first season of Cheer Squad for LifeStyle YOU In Australia. The series, which is produced by Vancouver’s Good Human Productions, debuted on Corus’ ABC Spark in July. Cheer Squad follows The Great White Sharks squad as they attempt to defend their title as World Cheerleading Champions.
