Discovery Family Channel has acquired two reality competitions from Canadian producers.

The U.S. cable net will premiere Great Pacific Media’s eight-episode Game of Homes on September 5. The series, which originally aired on W Network in Canada, follows host Cameron Mathison as he guides four teams of amateur home renovators attempting to revive dilapidated houses.

On September 7, the network will begin airing The Incredible Food Race, a six-part series that features two families competing in a cook-off race in an outdoor stadium.

The show was originally produced by Tricon Film & Television for Food Network Canada.

The series is hosted by Rick Campanelli. Executive producers include Andrea Gorfolova, Jameel Bharmal and Marc Kell Whitehead.
