Supergirl has flown the coop from CBS to CW in the U.S., as season cancellations and renewal reveals stateside get underway.
But it’s good news for Vancouver, B.C., which gains another CW series, the CW confirmed to Playback on Friday. Its first season was shot in L.A.
The series joins a handful of other CW series shooting in the province, including The Flash, DC Legends of Tomorrow, The 100 and the long-running Supernatural. Reign, another CW series, shoots in Toronto.
Supergirl airs in Canada on Global, which invested significantly in promoting the series last fall to successful ratings in Canada.
