Bell Media has set a July 1 premiere date for season two of Michelle Lovretta-created sci-fi series, Killjoys.
The first episode of the second season, which went into production in December, will air at 9 p.m. ET on Space. U.S. network Syfy will also air the 10-episode second season, though a premiere date has yet to be announced.
Season one of Killjoys posted strong ratings, with its finale drawing in an average of nearly 450,000 viewers in its timeslot, according to data provided by Bell Media.
The series follows a trio of bounty hunters who travel the galaxy searching for criminals. The show is produced by Temple Street, a division of Boat Rocker Studios, in association with Space and Syfy. It is executive produced by David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, as well as Karen Troubetzkoy. D.J. Carson serves as producer.
