Cameras roll on Kiss and Cry

Production on the Sean Cisterna-directed feature is currently underway in the Greater Toronto Area.

Production is underway in the Greater Toronto Area on Kiss and Cry, a feature film from Sean Cisterna that tells the true story of a competitive figure skater and singer named Carley Allison who died of cancer at 19.

The films stars Sarah Fisher as Carley (Fisher and Carley were close friends), Luke Bilyk as Carley’s boyfriend John and Chantal Kreviazuk as Carley’s mother May. Kiss and Cry is written by Willem Wennekers, with Cisterna also serving as producer along with Jay Deverett, Jeff Deverett and Avi Federgreen. The film will be distributed by Elevation Pictures in Canada, with Super Channel also set to air the completed project. Filming is expected to wrap by the end of the month.

Kiss and Cry received financial support from Telefilm Canada and the Ontario Media Development Corporation. A portion of the profits of the film will go towards Carley’s Angels, a charity run by her family that supports cancer patients.
