Production is underway in Vancouver on You Me Her, a comedy series from Entertainment One TV starring Canadian actress Priscilla Faia (Rookie Blue).
Faia will star alongside Greg Poehler and Rachel Blanchard in the 10-episode, half-hour series. You Me Her was ordered straight to series by L.A.-based satellite TV provider DirectTV in July, and will air on its Audience Network channel. The series tells a story of a young woman named Izzy Silva (Faia) who is persuaded to become an escort by her roommate, and then ends up in a relationship with a married couple played by Poehler and Blanchard.
The comedy was created and written by John Scott Shepherd (Save Me, The Days), who also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Nisha Ganatra (Transparent, Shameless, Married) is the sole director on You Me Her, and will also serve as co-executive producer.
Also executive producing the series is Peter Jaysen of Playboy Enterprises’ Alta Loma Entertainment and Alan Gasmer (Vikings). Jonathan Schwartz serves as producer. eOne is financing, producing and handling the worldwide distribution of You Me Her. John Morayniss, CEO of eOne Television, and Gerard Bocaccio, SVP of US scripted development, are overseeing production for You Me Her for the studio.
