Distribution360 announces sales from its factual content slate, including Open House Overhaul and Disaster DIY (pictured), and more deals of the week.

Distribution360 has announced the sale of numerous titles from its factual content slate into international markets. Renovation series Open House Overhaul (14 x  30 minutes), hosted by Samantha Pynn, has been sold to Foxtel in Australia, Globosat in Brazil and Decasa in Spain and Portugal in a deal brokered by Kiwi Media. The RTR Media-produced series was also picked up by LiTV in Asia via a deal brokered by Bomanbridge Media. Si Entertainment’s Disaster DIY (26 x 30 mintues), Tackle My Reno (14 x 30) and House of Bryan Season 3 (14 x 30 mintues) have also been picked up by Russia’s First HDTV in a Alati International Marketing-brokered deal. First HDTV also picked up Hop To It Productions’ Talent Hounds (4 x 30 minutes) and seasons five and six of Purple Dog Media and White Iron Pictures series At the End of My Leash (26 x 30 mintues). National Geographic Channels International series Tessa & Scott (7 x 30 minutes) has also been sold into 17 territories across Central and Eastern Europe.

Music rights management company ole has acquired more than 250 songs owned by Francois Lachance, founder of the Prime Time Agency and multi-platform music company Raccoons by Night. The worldwide deal means ole now has the exclusive rights to administer the digital audio-visual rights and the music copyrights for the song catalogue. Included in the catalogue are songs from Canadian artists such as Patrick Kordyback (lead singer of the band Stereos), songwriter and recording duo Midaz & Ellie and The Suits XL. In addition, ole will receive the co-publishing rights to future songs released by the artists.

Zodiak Rights
Zodiak Rights has acquired the distribution rights to Media Ranch’s True Sex Confessions format. Read more about the deal here.

Temple Street Media Ventures has inked a deal with Rugby Canada, making the Evolve Functional Fitness app the official fitness partner of the national sport organization. Read more about the deal here.
