With the return of several high-profile acquisitions in the early mid-season schedule, Global TV’s returning original series and buzzed-about new acquisition Battle Creek will wait till March for their debuts.

The conventional’s mid-season schedule sees will see State of Affairs return in the 8 p.m. timeslot on Monday nights starting Jan. 5, followed by Sleepy Hollow at 9 p.m. and NCIS: LA at 10 p.m. New episodes of The Night Shift, which started its season last summer and took a break for fall, will appear in the Monday 8 p.m. timeslot starting Feb. 23 after State of Affairs finishes its run.

Starting Jan. 6, the Tuesday night schedule will include NCIS at 8 p.m., NCIS: New Orleans at 9 p.m. and Chicago Fire at 10 p.m. Wednesday nights will feature Chicago PD at 8 p.m. starting Jan. 7.

The latest season of Celebrity Apprentice will bow at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, with Elementary to air in the 10 p.m. Thursday timeslot. Starting Jan. 9, the Friday night lineup will include About a Boy at 8 p.m. followed by Marry Me at 8:30 p.m. The 8 p.m. Friday timeslot will be taken over by the return of Constantine on Jan. 16.

The priemere of the final season of Parenthood will bow on Global on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 10 p.m. and Stalker will return on Jan. 14 in the Wednesday 10 p.m. timeslot.

Ratings driver The Blacklist returns in a special two-part episode on Feb. 1 after the Super Bowl, before moving to a Thursday at 9 p.m. spot on Feb. 5. The latest round of Survivor is set to premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.

March will see the debut of Battle Creek, from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and House creator David Shore, which will bow on Global in the Sunday 10 p.m. timeslot on March 1.

The return of medical drama Remedy from Indian Grove Productions and Big Brother Canada from Insight Production are also set for March, although exact dates have not yet been set.

Marketing for Remedy is already underway, with the release of a teaser trailer for the series’ second season on New Year’s Eve.
