Gaurav Seth’s sci-fi thriller Prisoner X has started shooting in Toronto.

Michelle Nolden, Romano Orzari , Damon Runyan and Julian Richings star in the sci-fi thriller about a CIA agent investigating a global crisis believed to have been caused by a time-traveling terrorist. It is based on the novella Truth by Robert Reed.

Prisoner X is a follow-up to Seth’s earlier films Pink Ludoos and A Passage to Ottawa, his first feature. It is shooting at Cinespace Film Studios with some select exteriors.

The low-budget indie, with financing from Super Channel and Telefilm Canada and an Indiegogo crowdfinancing campaign, is produced by Avi Federgreen and Robyn Bigué (The Amazing Race Canada).

Prisoner X is a movie adaptation of the novella Truth by Robert Reed.
