Pacific Northwest Pictures has acquired the Canadian rights to the Juliette Binoche-starrer A Thousand Times Goodnight, and plans a fall theatrical release.
Norway’s Erik Poppe directed the film about a war photographer (Binoche) struggling to reconcile her job with her family life and who must choose one to save her marriage.
A Thousand Times Goodnight also stars Game of Thrones’ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr.
The film will launched theatrically at Varsity Cinemas in Toronto on Sept. 26, 2014 ahead of a platform release countrywide.
A Thousand Times Good Night is produced by Paradox Production, with participation from Newgrange Pictures and Zentropa Sweden.
Stein B. Kvae and Finn Gjerdrum share the producer credits.
