With Pacific Northwest Pictures reaping box office rewards, the indie distributor has promoted Lindsey Hodgson to director of distribution and acquisitions.

Hodgson joined PNP in January 2013 after earlier distribution stints at Alliance Films and Union Pictures.

PNP is now busily expanding Roger Michell’s Le Week-End to 12 Canadian markets after the Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan-starrer bowed on March 21, while also opening Jason Priestley’s Cas & Dylan this weekend in five cities.

Hodgson in her new role will help oversee PNP’s distribution and acquisitions activities, while reporting to VP Emily Alden.

PNP’s release slate  includes the Slamdance title Three Night Stand; All the Wrong Reasons, starring Cory Monteith, Kevin Zegers, Emily Hampshire and Karine Vanasse; The English Teacher, starring Julianne Moore and Greg Kinnear; and Sisters & Brothers, another Cory Monteith-starrer.

Vancouver-based PNP has also picked up the Canadian rights to Cameron Labine’s Mountain Men, a Tyler Labine and Chace Crawford-starrer about two brothers stranded at their family’s mountain cabin during a search for their missing father.
