City has added Shannon Tweed to the cast for Seed, the sperm donor comedy from Force Four Entertainment.

The star of Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, who is already co-starring with daughter Sophie in the upcoming W Network reality series Shannon and Sophie from Force Four Entertainment, will guest star on the sitcom.

Tweed will play Rose’s judgmental mother in an episode to air April 24 on City.

The comedy, starring Adam Korson and Carrie-Lynn Neales, has also been acquired by the CW network for its summer 2014 schedule.

Shannon and Sophie stars Tweed as part of a mother-daughter duo running into celebrities during their social and business events, with regular appearances from husband Gene Simmons. The series will debut on W Network on May 20.
