Canada has proved it isn’t short of any media creativity and advertising innovation. This year, the AToMiC Awards, which recognizes the partnerships and programs that challenge the media status quo, received a hefty 248 case study submissions, and of those, 93 made it to the second round of judging.
Throughout the month of April, Playback, strategy and Media in Canada will be releasing two categories of short listed nominees each week leading up to the show, which takes place May 15 at Toronto’s spacey Airship 37. New categories will be released each Monday.
The AToMiC Awards, launched in 2011, celebrate the partnerships, programs and new developments that together build the Canadian media industry. Here is the first round of shortlists in the “collaboration” and “consumer social responsibility (CSR)” categories.
