Peacock Alley sells High Tech Rednecks, Money Moron

Toronto-based distributor Peacock Alley has sold reality series High Tech Rednecks and lifestyle series Money Moron to networks and distributors in Italy, Australia, New Zealand and Norway.

Italian communications company De Agostini Editore acquired High Tech Rednecks (8 x 60 minutes) for the satellite TV platform DeASapere HD, while home entertainment distributor Beyond Home Entertainment acquired the rights for Australia and New Zealand.

The series, which is produced by Shark Teeth Films for Discovery Canada, stars business owner Bob Woodcock and his employees at Critter Gitters, a company that manufactures “big, bad and innovative” automotive builds.

Meanwhile, SBS/Discovery Norway picked up Money Moron (24 x 30 minutes). Created and produced by Peacock Alley for Slice, the show stars financial expert Gail Vaz-Oxlade and airs on TVA Quebec.
