Vancouver actor Jack Irvine has boarded Fox’s Broadchurch adaptation as a series regular.

The 13 year-old will portray Tom Miller, the son of a detective in Gracepoint, which is now shooting in Victoria, B.C.

The 10-part series portrays events in the sleepy seaside town of Gracepoint following the death of a young boy.

Irvine’s previous credits include AMC’s The Killing and USA networks’ Psych.

The Canadian actor is represented by Nigel Mikoski of Integral Artists and Felker, Toczek, Gellman, Suddleson.
