Canadian director Émile Gaudreault has started production on his sixth feature film, Fury.
The theatrical dramedy stars Stéphane Rousseau, Mathieu Quesnel, Julie Le Breton and Guylaine Tremblay.
Fury sees Rousseau play a popular film director who suffers from shock after an accident that leads him stop his work and take a year off.
The rest of the ensemble cast includes Normand D’Amour, Charles-Alexandre Dubé, Sonia Vachon, Catherine De Léan and Marie-Ève Milot.
The filming of Fury in Montreal and the Thetford mines in Quebec is slated to run through July.
Gaudreault’s earlier films include The Sense of Humour and Mambo Italiano.
Fury is produced by Denise Robert and Daniel Louis, and will be released by Seville Pictures in 2014.
