Investigation Discovery U.S. has ordered two new crime documentary series from Montreal’s CMJ Productions II, as well as given a second season order for its Fatal Vows program.

The new series, Impostors and A Stranger In My Home, and the second season of Fatal Vows, will hit the airwaves by the end of 2013, CMJ said Thursday.

As the title suggests, Fatal Vows follows the tragic arc of love, from first-meetings through marriage to murderous endings.

Imposters, a six by one-hour series, probes how some people are able to climb the ladders of business and society based on manipulations and trickery.

In a similar vein, A Stranger in My Home, a 10-episode series, examines how some new acquaintances can be struck up, grow intimate but then slide into manipulation and exploitation.
