Fresh off of locking in an output deal with Quebec travel channel Évasion, CMJ Productions has appointed executive VP Judith Beauchemin as a partner.

The Montreal-based production company unveiled the news Monday.

Beauchemin has overseen production management and operations at CMJ for the past 11 years.  In this role she has managed the logistical details of budgets, scheduling and production for notable documentary series including Accident Investigator, Fear Fighters, Risk Takers I & II, Regatta, The Will: Family Secrets Revealed, Air Cowboys and Fatal Vows.

Beauchemin will continue to manage all of the productions and as partner will have a larger role in the decision making of the company alongside CEO John Kuyk.

The pact with Évasion was announced at the end of March.
