Linda Hamilton is to guest star in Lost Girl, the Prodigy Pictures drama for Showcase head to a third season.

Hamilton (The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day) will appear in a Lost Girl episode as Acacia, a tough, sexy and ruthless assassin who has enjoyed a storied and deadly career.

The third cycle of Lost Girl is to debut on Showcase in winter 2013.

The Canadian series also stars Anna Silk, Kris Holden-Ried and Ksenia Solo.

Executive Producers are Jay Firestone, Emily Andras, Plato Fountidakis, and Paul Rapovski.
