Rob Scarth has joined the Canada Media Fund board of directors, the fund announced Thursday following the its general assembly in Montreal.

Scarth has worked for the CBC as director of regulatory affairs and VP, television, for the Canadian Association of Broadcasters.

He joins current board members including chairperson Louis Roquet, audit committee chairperson Cheryl Barker, governance and human resources committee chairperson Alison Clayton, as well as Ron Close, Guy Fournier and Glenn Wong.

CMF board members are nominated by member organizations the Canadian Coalition for Cultural Expression and the Government of Canada, through Canadian Heritage.
