Former Rainmaker Entertainment CFO Bryant Pike has returned to production with former Insight Film Studios topper Kirk Shaw on the Syfy movie Chupacabra Versus the Alamo, now shooting in Vancouver.

Pike of West E! Media is producing the Erik Estrada-starring sci-fi film that is directed by Insight Film Studios veteran Terry Ingram.

Pike was CFO of Insight Film Studios for a year to 2007, before becoming CFO of Rainmaker Entertainment for four years to April 2012.

Shaw’s Odyssey Media is executive producing Chupacabra Versus the Alamo, a TV film written by screenwriter Peter Sullivan and to receive a Canadian release by Shaw Media.

Set in San Antonio, Texas, the telefilm portrays a veteran border agent played by Estrada who investigates a series of deaths by drug cartels.

During his tenure at Insight Film Studios, Pike oversaw the production and financing for over 25 TV films and five features.
