Shaftesbury Films is still making library sales of ReGenesis, with Discovery Communications picking up the one-hour drama for its U.S.-based Science channel.
Discovery acquired the first season of the Canadian sci-fi series, or 13 one-hours, that suitably portrays a team of scientists charged with investigating the global use and abuse of advanced biotechnology.
ReGenesis, which bowed in 2004 on The Movie Network and Movie Central, stars Peter Outerbridge and Ellen Page before she moved to Hollywood.
The series, which ran for four seasons, was rebroadcast on Global Television and Showcase.
