Shaftesbury sells Connor Undercover and Baxter to HBO Asia

Post-MIPCOM, Shaftesbury Films has sold the kids adventure series Connor Undercover and the tween series Baxter to HBO Asia.

The deal means the two Family Channel Canada series will find their first Asian audiences.

HBO Asia bought 39 half-hours of Connor Undercover, about a 15-year-old spy buff played by Max Morrow, and 13 half-hours of Baxter, which portrays friends at a performing arts high school.

Connor Undercover, coproduced by Shaftesbury and Heroic Film Company, airs on Starz Entertainment in the U.S. market.

And Shaftesbury’s Baxter, which stars Evan Williams, also airs on Starz Entertainment stateside.
