Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM Canada, for August 8 to 14, 2011:
Monday: The London riots drew big numbers on CTV Evening News at 6 p.m., with 1.574 million viewers for the night. CTV National News at 11 p.m. followed behind in the #2 spot with 1.162 million viewers.
Tuesday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. took its second win for the week and earned 1.574 million viewers for Tuesday evening, while America’s Got Talent on Citytv at 9 p.m. nabbed the #2 spot with 1.343 million viewers.
Wednesday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. sat snug in the evening’s #1 spot with 1.574 million viewers, while Big Brother 13 on Global at 8 p.m. came just short of being on par with 1.539 million viewers.
Thursday: Rookie Blue on Global at 10 p.m. topped the charts this week and earned 1.585 million viewers for Thursday night. CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. is still in top form in the #2 position with 1.574 million viewers.
Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. took its final win for the week and pulled 1.574 million viewers for the night, while Flashpoint on CTV at 8 p.m. drew the second highest numbers with 1.406 million viewers tuning in to watch.
Saturday: Another double win for sister news programs: CTV National News at 11 p.m. came in at #1 with 1.162 million viewers, while CTV Evening News Weekend at 6 p.m. sat below at #2 with 1.088 million viewers.
Sunday: Not quite out of the limelight just yet, Big Brother 13 on Global at 8 p.m. earned 1.492 million viewers for Sunday night and CTV National News at 11 p.m. took the #2 spot on the list with 1.162 million viewers.
