USA Network’s newbie summer legal drama Suits has set up production at Downsview Park in Toronto.

The rookie drama, formerly known as A Legal Mind, will shoot through August 12 in the north Toronto complex, and bow on June 23 at 10 pm on the US cable channel.

Suits stars Gabriel Macht as a top Manhattan lawyer out to hire a hotshot associate, only to be impressed by one candidate: a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, played by Patrick J. Adams, who while appearing to be a legal prodigy, is no trained lawyer.

To serve justice and save their jobs, both men must continue the charade as unconventional thinkers.

Suits also stars Meghan Markle, Gina Torres and Rick Hoffman.

Doug Liman and David Bartis share the producer credits, along with Randi Richmond and Steve Wakefield.

USA Network also shoots Covert Affairs in Toronto.
