Equipment supplier William F. White won’t be flipping a switch to get indie producers plugged into the latest film and TV production technology at next week’s February Freeze showcase on February 8.
Green electricity provider Bullfrog Power will light up Pinewood Toronto Studios as around 40 North American motion picture, broadcast, and live entertainment industry suppliers showcase their latest products, services and technologies.
“It’s a terrific opportunity to get a pre-NAB glimpse at the most cutting-edge equipment innovations of 2011,” William F. White CEO Paul Bronfman said Friday.
The day-long trade show for sound, lighting or video professionals will feature production reps from William F. White Int’l, Panasonic, Sim Video, Deluxe, Matthews Studio Equipment, Arri and Erikson, among others.
As in past years, American equipment suppliers will figure large at February Freeze as Canada once again becomes a magnet for Los Angeles producers shooting locally.
