TSN names Volden and Graham to exec team

TSN has appointed two to its executive team. Ken Volden has been promoted to VP and executive producer of News and Studio Production, while Paul Graham is named VP and exec producer of live events.

Volden has a host of high-profile credits on his resume, including work on TSN’s ratings grabbing Grey Cup Weekend coverage, NHL TradeCentre, and a senior role on the Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium. Volden will be responsible for TSN’s flagship SportsCentre (pictured) and for the net’s in-house productions, which include the NHL on TSN, CFL on TSN, Off the Record with Michael Landsberg, That’s Hockey and The Reporters with Dave Hodge.

Graham has overseen two of the highest-rated Grey Cups in CFL history as well as the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship Gold Medal game – the most-watched broadcast in TSN’s history. Graham also served a senior role on the Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium team.

“TSN continues to set the standard for sports broadcasting in Canada, delivering exceptional content that Canadians continue to embrace at record levels,” said TSN president Stewart Johnston. “Ken and Paul are two of this country’s finest producers and having them work with [SVP of production] Mark Milliere on the executive team will ensure that TSN continues to lead the sports landscape for years to come.”
