Cineflex Productions’ Conviction Kitchen TV series will not go through to a third season, the indie producer confirmed to Playback Daily.

The gritty homegrown reality series, which aired on Citytv and on Planet Green stateside, put ex-cons through a culinary wringer under the watchful eye of celebrity Toronto chef Marc Thuet and business partner Biana Zorich.

The first season was shot in a classy Toronto eatery, with the second season set in a Vancouver eatery.
