CTV has the Hiccups, for a second season.
Production has started in Vancouver on another 13 more episodes of the Brent Butt comedy from indie producer Sparrow Media Company, and is set to run through December.
Returning cast includes Butt and fellow Corner Gas alum Nancy Robertson, and Paula Rivera.
In the second season of the popular Canadian comedy, Robertson’s character Millie Upton, a children’s author with anger management issues, goes to Hollywood to firm up a Grumpaloo movie deal.
The first season of Hiccups is airing on CTV’s The Comedy Network, and will be shopped to broadcasters internationally by Ben Silverman’s Electus Distribution, via a sub-distribution deal with Thunderbird Films.
Butt created, writes and executive produces Hiccups, which is executive produced by Laura Lightbown and David Storey (Corner Gas).
Production credits belong to Nancy Robertson and Arvi Liimatainen.
